Essex Based PAT Testing
Located in Tendring Essex, Positive PAT Testing provides Tendring & Essex with PAT Testing services of 230 and 110 volt equipment in accordance with the IET Code Of Practice 5Th Edition. We Promote Safety at Work and Quality Over Quantity, giving our Portable Appliance Testing customers peace of mind.
Unlike some PAT Testing companies we thoroughly inspect every appliance to ensure the safety of your portable electrical equipment, once passed we provide your PAT Certificate and Asset list.

Testing And Inspection
On The Day
We will carry out a thorough visual inspection on the power lead, plug and appliance for any signs of damage, then we will confirm that the correct fuse is fitted for the appliance and check that the wires are correctly terminated.
The item will be tested for electrical safety to ensure that it is safe to use.
Plug fuses and plug top rewiring will be free (as required ).
On completion of the test a Pass or Fail sticker will be applied,
failed items will be taken out of use and discussed with the relevant Health and Safety representative on site and clearly labelled failed for your disposal.
All items are recorded and upon payment a PDF Asset List and a PAT Certificate of Electrical Appliance Testing will be sent to you.
Microwave Leakage detection testing and Mains Socket testing services are available upon request.
